We are excited to announce that this month we are going on a road trip to Ireland!!

We are delivering a very special gift...a complete rearticulated seal skeleton for display at Seal Rescue Ireland's visitor centre. The seal originates from Ireland and he will become part of the centre's introductory and educational talks for visitors.

In addition to this, we will be joined by students from the University of Plymouth who, as part of their undergrad and postgrad research projects, will be carrying out research observations on the centre's rescued seals during their rehabilitation prior to the seals release back into the wild.

A very exciting time! Collaboration and education are at the heart of The Cove's ethos and it really is wonderful working with such great partnerships.
